We source the finest ingredients to prepare our dishes and are proud to use RED Tractor and BRC accredited produce.
We serve up our delicious street food from our pop-up gazebo, meaning we can literally set up almost anywhere (outdoors).. Bringing you the best in World flavours with a Punjabi heritage to the streets and festivals of the UK, we've traded at some of the biggest and best events across the country as well as catered at a number of private events.
Here at The Spice is Right we prepare all of our food to tested recipes from our home kitchen. We make all of our food from scratch, including our curries, salsas, sauces and of course our 48 hour marinated chicken; using only the highest quality ingredients to ensure that every mouthful of food produced and served by The Spice is Right is the best it can be. We work with carefully chosen suppliers and only use British sourced chicken.
With a vision of getting our name out there within the ever expanding street food scene of Birmingham and the UK, we started trading in March 2016.

Within months we were trading at the Foodies festival in Birmingham's Cannon Hill Park, where we were overwhelmed with half an hour queues... THANK YOU BIRMINGHAM!

Fast forward a couple of weeks and thanks to Pip, of the infamous Pip's hot sauce, we were referred to the BBC for a new series they were filming with the 'Hairy Bikers' called Chicken & Egg.
​
We have been featured on the programme and have been said to have "...some of the best chicken they have tasted..".
The Hairy Bikers have also featured one of our signature dishes in their new cookbook - Chicken & Egg.
